Sushi and sake will be served, followed by a cooking demonstration by Hissho Sushi’s Executive Chef.

About Ms. Dion Lim

Dion Lim joined the WCNC news team in August 2010. She joins Bobby Sisk anchoring the 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. newscasts and provides consumer reports on ways to save money and avoid scams.

Prior to News Channel 36, Dion was a weekday morning anchor at KMBC in Kansas City, the #1 ABC affiliate in the country. Named Kansas City's Best Morning News Anchor in 2008, she became known for her "Dion's Daily Deals" segments, showing viewers how to save money and find the best bargains.

Dion Lim graduated cum laude from Emerson, majoring in broadcast journalism with a concentration in science. She has also worked on-air and behind the scenes at stations in Springfield, Mass., and Hartford, Conn.

About Philip Maung

Mr. Maung, whose company is very familiar to sushi fanatics, emigrated to the US from Burma after he was forced out of medical school after less than a year by a Burmese law that prevented ethnic Chinese from enrolling. He arrived in the US with $13 dollars in his pocket and founded Hissho Sushi in 1998 in his dining room, joined by his wife, Kristina.
