From revolutions to natural disasters, 2011 has been a tumultuous year wrought with challenges. Despite the setbacks, we were able to overcome obstacles with perseverance and group solidarity. As we journey into 2012, I challenge NAAAP Charlotte members to persevere through these economically volatile times by helping each other grow both professionally and personally. As a group, I have no doubt that we can further perpetuate NAAAP’s vision of making leaders.
In the spirit of making leaders, one of my 2012 goals is to couple our general members with more leadership opportunities. On behalf of the leadership team, we welcome motivated individuals to step up and join us in creating engaging programs around professional development, professional networking and community service. And to live up to NAAAP’s reputation as the fastest growing Asian American organization in North America, I would like to further increase our membership base by offering attractive and meaningful events.
I have an insatiable appetite for success, and I am excited for all the great things that we will accomplish together in 2012. I look forward to succeeding with each and every one of you and I hope to see you all at our events!
